OF CARING ART LEAGUE
SALES TO BENEFIT CHILDREN The Worthington Area Art League will be giving back this holiday season. Remembering some of their happiest moments as children was time spent creating art. With this backdrop the members of the art league felt they should provide children with needed art supplies. The league has decided to donate a portion of sales from their exhibit from their upcoming Fall Show to benefit the United Methodist Children’s Home in Worthington. Each member will donate 30% of the sale of any art work to purchase art supplies for these budding artists. Art will be for sale November 2 thru December 13 at the Anthem Insurance Building, 6740 North High Street. Anthem is partnering with the efforts of the art league and will have special Saturday hours for the public to purchase their favorite work of art. In addition to weekdays from 8:30 to 4:30 every Saturday in November and December 6 and 13 you can visit the gallery space from 10am to 2pm. There will be a special Artists’ Reception, Sunday November 2 from 2pm to 4pm where you can meet the artists. The United Methodist Children’s Home changes lives and art inspires the soul. The purchase of art will provide children with the tools to express their creativity, for a lifetime.
