Thanks to all who volunteered their time to man the booth and spread the good word about WAAL

Market Day started early with the arrival of Chairman of WAAL Market Day Booth, Ron Porta Set up helpers were Gary Chaconas, (new member from Newark) Phil Kimball, and Bill Westerman. The 7 AM setup went very well, thanks to all the helping hands. Ron had everything well planned and organized.

Many of our members brought their art to be exhibited, including Paintings, Prints, and Cards. Thanks to Ann Kramer who loaned the used of her Easy Up tent and the leagues' own Easy Up we had adequate shelter from the brilliant sun. Ray Wilson loaned his card racks, and we had the use of a couple of great tables from members. There was a constant stream of visitors to the Market Day function and we had a booth near the main entrance from the intersection of 161 and High Street. The exhibits extended all the way to South Street. During the day we had shift changes so that there was constantly a crew from WAAL to greet visitors and tell them about WAAL. The new WAAL brochure was distributed and we also gave away the few remaining 2007 calendars.
