As a child, My favorite thing to do was to play in the woods, draw, dream and allow my imagination to transport me to fantasy worlds and far-off places. I received my B.F.A. in illustration from Columbus College of Art and Design.

After illustrating many award-winning children’s books, I am now inspired to interpret the visual symphony I observe in my natural surroundings. In these paintings I have chosen to step back from the realism I once embraced for a more personal expression. Capturing the landscape in this lively way gives me a sense of place and spirit. By emphasizing individual elements within my paintings, my purpose is to create a new depth and synergy, enticing the viewer with a unique interpretation of my vision.

I am represented by Studios on High Gallery in Columbus' Short North district and my paintings are in collections worldwide.
