Artist: Tom Conrad

Tom Conrad is a native Ohio artist who began to paint after a career in higher education and non-profit management. He is a graduate of Wittenberg University with a Ph.D in political science. He has been painting seriously for the past fifteen years. He and his wife, Pat, live in a century old Victorian home in Delaware , Ohio .

“My work in pastels, watercolor and oil is loosely representational with an emphasis on design and crisp color. The masters whose work I admire especially include Sargeant, Homer, and Corot. My work is expressionistic rather than photo-realistic.
