Artists and Watermedia Enthusiasts, The Ohio
Watercolor Society is sponsoring a program at the Middletown Fine Art Center
featuring Warren Taylor. The program will be from 2-4 PM, Sunday, July15, 2007.
Warren Taylor is this year's juror and workshop presenter for the Ohio
Watercolor Society's annual exhibition. He's an instructor at Midland College in
Texas and conducts classes in drawing, painting, watercolor and art history. His
works have been included in both AWS and NWS juried exhibitions and are part of
many private collections. His approach to watercolor is one of spontaneity and
freshness. His compositions combine disparate objects such as children's toys
and flower pots with imaginative landscapes. In teaching, he guides his students
to a more spontaneous approach to watercolor, encouraging them to look at
familiar objects and methods in a fresh, exciting manner. Warren will give a
slide program and a short demonstration. The program is free and will be held at
the Middletown Fine Arts Center on Verity Parkway in Middletown. 513-424-2417.
There are still spaces available in his workshop at Middletown July 16-20.
